Saints have played ess, pies, blues and dogs (werent travelling well at the time) and port tonight from the 1st 7 rounds.

So thats 2nd, 4th, 8th and 7th after tonight.

No sure that counts as nobody - if it did id say then that applies to every club in the comp.

They do have an easy draw this year with double Ups against GC, Nth and Hawks. They are yet to play WCE or GWS.

Of that list of 8 games they have played GC once so IF form continues you'd have to expect them to win all of those games, that puts them in 13 win range

Top 4 is a real possibility if they dont drop off significantly - big IF i know.

Nah I think you will drop off significantly soon.

Don’t see you top 4 at all. Way too many injuries.

1. Collingwood - best team so far nothing more to be said.
2. Port Adelaide - not the second best team but they have a knack of finishing top 2 in recent finals bound years
3. Brisbane - near impossible to beat at home and will pinch enough away wins to finish top 4
4. Geelong - poor start may cost them top 2 and are still a very good team
5. Melbourne- good team but a little too flaky for mine so they just miss top 4
6. Saints - good defensive team but will be beaten by the better teams as the season goes on
7. Fremantle - have either them or Sydney to get their shit together soon
8. Bulldogs - will pinch wins against good teams but will have inexplicable losses to poor teams

9. Adelaide
10. Essendon

12. Fremantle
13. Richmond
14. Gold Coast
15. GWS
16. Hawthorn
17. Kangaroos
18. West Coast

1. Collingwood - haven't played 6 of the bottom 7 yet still on top. Clearly the best side in it right now.
2. Brisbane - never looked better under Fagan imo. Convinced they can go all the way.
3. Geelong - keep on rolling. Can't see them winning less than 15 games.
4. Port Adelaide - I think their young midfield can only get better. Only played one bad game in round 2.
5. Melbourne - gonna be one or two really good teams to miss the top four this year. Gut says the Dees could drop off and miss by a game or %.
6. St Kilda - really tough run into the finals could sour their top four hopes. Need to capitalise on their friendly run coming up after this week.
7. Adelaide - couple of stiff losses against quality opposition doesn't have me concerned. Young team will get better.
8. Sydney Swans - could win their next three and change their season. Not a true contender though.

9. Western Bulldogs - hope they don't play finals if they are only going to make up the numbers. 5-3 is a good record but I don't think they're playing well.
10. Essendon - sucks to play four top 5 sides on the trot. Still playing really good footy and could play finals. Gut says they won't last 22 games.
11. Carlton - they just don't play like a finals team.
12. Gold Coast - they're alive and playing good footy. Could have beaten Melbourne. Hope they keep their heads up and make a run at finals.
13. Richmond - think they get on a mini roll at some stage. Not contending for finals though.
14. GWS Giants - neither here nor there. Very tough month coming up will ruin any finals aspirations.
15. Fremantle - can't compete with good teams. Look mostly clueless out there. Really bad year and they don't have a first round pick
16. Hawthorn - will click a few wins over as a young side improves their cohesion.
17. North Melbourne - wheels are off. Maybe they can improve late in the year but looks doubtful.
18. West Coast - don't see their fortunes changing. They're really bad.

Pretty spot on tbh, 7th to 11th is going to be an interesting finish to the season, Id probably only move dogs up. Should win 4 of there last 5 matches.

Yeah not looking forward to playing them up there in a few weeks [emoji51]

My top 8 after round 8 is:

1. collingwood ( they just keep getting the job done plus reinforcements to come a good problem to have)
2. melbourne (still think they are in their prime want to make amend for 2022)
3. geelong ( still old but still good they keep rolling along and on and on etc......)
4. port ( i think they will rise toward the end of the season and time its run got some exciting kids)
5. lions ( same boat as port but i feel a tad drop off at the end and like rest on their laurels with its gabba games can be 4th imho)
6. saints (finally be rewarded for a good season may get found out as the season wears on still a good team might drop a few spots)
7. dogs ( token finals appreance good team the dogs they dont normally miss finals so they are more blue chip then people think)
8. crows ( they have more upside then carlton and essendon and have beaten both i feel crows to sneak in there just on the right track for once)

Saints looking shaky now.

Tigers climbing

Blues and Swans disappointing

SA teams looking decent position

Saints have six wins already and have games against eagles, kangas, hawks, giants, swans and suns all winnable.and two against rcihmond.i think they make it.
Esseendon play richmond this week.Win that and they have eaglse twice and Kangas twice plus giants, carlton and swans.Still a strong chance.
Richmond have a harder draw.PlayEessendon,Giants,Eagles.Hawks and Kangas that are all winnable. The tuff games are Port Adelaide twice,Saints twice,Lions,Demons,Bulldogs and the Dockers.are there enough winnable games in that lot.
