Billings Leg was a stress fracture which could be cause by excessive training loads tooIt's really just Ross Coffield McKenzie Jones Campbell King right?
McKenzie and Jones are just injury prone, well before Walsh.
Campbell hadn't done his achilles it was just a strain.
Leaves Ross Coffield King with genuine soft tissue injuries. I'd say it's normal for clubs to have a few soft tissues on the list?
Walsh gave them a program that netted results either way you slice it I reckon. We are running over the top of sides consistently and as mentioned a majority of the group came back for pre-season the fittest they've been.
I thought Walsh was doing a great job. Many in here commended the effort and intensity we've played at. We're annoyed about the injuries but I don't think I ever saw Walsh mentioned, people here were just putting it down to bad luck.
I wouldn't be surprised if Misson is overstepping the mark and trying to tell Walsh how to do his job. That's a pretty believable scenario and I don't think it's a coincidence that Walsh has been here a few years and as soon as Misson takes over Geoff Walsh's position, becoming Nick Walsh's boss, that it only takes about a month for it to end like this.

Didn't Misson already oversee Walsh prior to taking on the Geoff Walsh role? It's really just Ross Coffield McKenzie Jones Campbell King right?

lol you are overstating his influence just a tad. Players effort and intensity have 0% to do with Nick Walsh and everything to do with Lyon and the new coaching set up.It's really just Ross Coffield McKenzie Jones Campbell King right?

Resigning immediately would lead me to believe that something went on. I remember a few posters saying our injuries were bad luck because majority were contact injuries and not soft tissue. Walsh also has us as fit as we've ever been. Bizarre stuff tonight really.
That’s rightPetty sure he did it playing against the Dees in the preseason match? Got a fracture from contact.
Yeah, that's an interesting point. Those that have had soft tissue injuries have had set backs and slow to return - Coff, King and Hayes.Getting held responsible for the soft tissue stuff.
Coffield calf might be the straw that broke the camels back.
Hotton wouldn't have trained with us for long enough before the injury came up for it to be attributed to our program. You can add Hayes,Hotton & McClelland last 2 are back related stress fractures & Hayes possibly overloading work causing foot fractures.
Sorry you likely right. It happened during the game, not sure how - but it was a hairline fracture to the fibula, which is why I thought it could be stress fracturePetty sure he did it playing against the Dees in the preseason match? Got a fracture from contact.
Maybe I’m an overly sensitive snowflake with poor coping mechanisms and an inability to move on from historical sporting failures but I feel anything referencing the circumstances around 2009/2010 or even 1997 needs some sort of warning. Or at least be labelled “NSFS” or something like that.Misson, the genius that thought Luke Ball was only good for 6 minutes at a time!
Collingwood are eternally grateful for his expertise!
