Opposition mids are definitely attuned to his over-the-head handballs. Nearly always blocked now.I meant since coming to Freo. He showed a bit last year so might of thought he was undroppable. Has his game been found out or he is just out of form or unfit

I'd be very surprised if he doesnt come on early in the third or even half time tbh. I seriously doubt he's fit for a full game of AFL but he'll get more out of 1 half against Hawks then he would against Peel AND he can contribute to a winWe were thrashed in every meaningful stat last week and we do nothing to address it but token changes, backline will remain unchanged but now gives up over 100 points every week, wingers will stay the same and midfield largely the same. Also if Fyfe is fit start him on field in the middle and then sub him off at half time, not just bring him on at the start of the 4th which they are likely to do and then probably put him at full forward.
Man I would love to know what KPI's Banfield is hitting that offset a lack of tackles and goals for a forward.I mean, every team has a whipping boy and banfields just ours. To be fair the change looks like Treacy in for Sturt. And the data on kms run and defensive acts must mean Sturt can't play banfields role.

Yep by then we'll be 5 goals down judging by our first quarters over the last 20 games.I'd be very surprised if he doesnt come on early in the third or even half time tbh. turn around banana shots at goal from any distance out? Great hair, even under moist conditions?Man I would love to know what KPI's Banfield is hitting that offset a lack of tackles and goals for a forward.
Maybe but I'm not sure half done 30 something year old Fyfe would make a difference for that. I'll back the guys in for this week, Hawks are due a real stinker after a couple of games of mostly good effort and I like Treacy, Freddy and Ras inYep by then we'll be 5 goals down judging by our first quarters over the last 20 games.
Looks like Fyfe will be back to 50/50 mid and forward. Other than that, they seem to be moving to more variety in the middle. JOM, Ras, AB, Serong, Switta, Aish and maybe even Jackson will run through there (since Treacy is in)The other strange thing about Banfield staying in the amount of forwards playing in the team. Do we really need eight forwards? Plus you’ve got Fyfe who probably spends time forward when he comes on.
We don’t have enough players running through the midfield imo. Not sure who else we unless they left Brodie in. There isn’t enough midfielders on the list and there isn’t much variety in our mids either.
The backline no longer works because Cox, Pearce and Ryan are slow and teams no longer just bomb it in high so we can take intercept marks. The new game plan for most teams is move the ball quick and forwards are quick leading targets. Also Cox, Pearce and Ryan offer us nothing in terms of kick in strategy. I know the only time we will make a change is if one is injured but would be nice if we did trial Cox or Pearce forward and make the backline more mobile.who would you have come in for the backline? lol obviously cox, pearce and ryan have been s**t but would you prefer to bring in davies? or draper? or worner? they’re going through rough form at the moment but we’ve seen their quality. i presume the idea is that the club believes that this mix in the backline is capable of getting us to a premiership and so will back them in to gain confidence/experience playing together. if we had logue or if hamling wasn’t a corpse i wouldn’t be against giving pearce a rest but here we are
