My best 22 of this draft:

Wil Powell - Harrison Petty - Noah Balta
Brandon Starcevich - Sam Taylor - Ed Richards
Adam Cerra - Luke Davies-Uniacke - Zac Bailey
Cameron Rayner - Oscar Allen - Jack Higgins
Bayley Fritsch - Aaron Naughton - Liam Ryan
Tom De Koning - Andrew Brayshaw - Tim Kelly
Hunter Clark - Dylan Moore - James Worpel - Jaidyn Stephenson

Not a lot of midfield depth but that forward line looks amazing

Dylan Moore?

Brayshaw going backwards at an alarming rate this season, which is very disappointing.

LDU would be number 1 but he is injury struck again (unfortunately)
He's been well down on his best but he had Covid just before the season started and a reported (by media and himself) knee issue that held him back the first 6 weeks. He's starting to get into the season now with 30 touches and 2 goals against Brisbane but I think he'll find his running power again in the next month and get back close to something like last year.

To be fair he set the bar high for himself in 2022. That was always going to hard to follow up.

Yeah and I think he'll get back to there this year it's just when so much of your game is based off running, if you have a knee issue or illness, it's going to set you back. That midfield set up is also busted at the moment which doesnt help.

I've been made look stupid many times but I think him versus LDU is going to be very interesting come the end of their careers. I think LDU is going to have the higher highs but not the longevity with his injury history and style of play. Both clubs obviously wrapped with both players

Yeah shows the caliber of the great man who gets 30d 2 goals and his going backwards at an alarming rate.
Can’t wait for him to turn it around

Not a bad draft. In fact an extremely deep draft. If you could go back in time, how would you place the order now? Who do you think I've been harsh on? Who do you think I've been too generous on. Create your own list (top 10, 20, 30 or 40)

1. Naughton (9)
2. Andrew Brayshaw (2)
3. Davies-Uniacke (4)
4. Sam Taylor (28)
5. Bayley Fritsch (31)
6. Tim Kelly (24)
7. Liam Ryan (26)
8. Dylan Moore (67)
9. Liam Baker (Rookie)
10. Zac Bailey (15)
11. Adam Cerra (5)
12. Starcevich (18)
13. Jiath (Cat B rook)
14. Mihocek (Rookie)
15. Tom De Koning (30)
16. Harrison Petty (37)
17. Ed Richards (16)
18. Noah Balta (25)
19. Tom McCartin (33)
20. Jack Higgins (17)
21. Darcy Fogarty (12)
22. Nathan Murphy (39)
23. Oscar Allen (21)
24. Cam Rayner (1)
25. Roarke Smith (Rookie)
26. Brent Daniels (27)
27. Switkowski (73)
28. Jaiden Stephenson (6)
29. Worpel (45)
30. Tristan Xerri (72)
31. Ainsworth (32)
32. Amartey (Rook)
33. Charlie Spargo (29)
34. Will Powell (19)
35. Hunter Clarke (7)
36. Gryan Miers (57)
37. Nick Holman (Rookie)
38. Lloyd Meek (69)
39. Matt Guelfi (76)
40. Nick Coffield (8)
Great list but Cam Rayner and Oscar Allen should be in the top 10.

Cam Rayner is really starting to show why he went 1.
I suspect over the next couple years he will rise substantially up these sort of lists.

had a great game on the weekend that seemed to slip under the radar a bit

needs to find a bit more consistency but you can see the talent. couple of BOG match winning performances in recent games (Saints last year, Collingwood this year....)

My top 10. - LDU could end up 1 or 2 depending on how he goes from here. Starcevich unlucky.

Naughton
Brayshaw
LDU
Taylor
Allen
Fritch
Rayner
Kelly
Higgins
Powell

I think Rayner is still a fair way down the pecking order. He's impacting games a bit more, but his production is still pretty average really. 1.1 goals a game and 14 touches a game. Stats aren't everything, but it's pretty clear that he still goes missing for large periods of games.

He's being played forward a bit so you realistically wouldn't expect him to be putting up midfield numbers. What I like about him is he's an impact player. He has the power to burst from a pack with a handball or kick - and that has to be of higher value than the accumulators of the game.

He's definitely a nice player. Just a matter of where he gets ranked. Even as a forward, he doesn't impact the scoreboard that much or have that many score involvements. Compared to the other small-medium type forwards from this draft, he has less scoreboard influence than Fritsch, Higgins, Bailey and Ryan. His impact qualities are good, but I don't see him in the top ten from this draft.

Leading intercept marker this year after being top 2 all year last season before he got injured. 1v1 stats have improved year on year to the point he now is a genuine reliable defender. Can't believe some people not even putting him in the top 40😂
I really liked his game on your man Kyle Langford this year :)
