So we can conclude Training mode, along with single player mode just never existed and they’ve taken us for a ride since day 1 I swear this mob never fails to deliver on failing to deliver.

IMO I believe Xbox will not be released until Proteam is announced with a delivery date.

Maybe Microsoft don't like the fact that BA promised so much and didn't want a game released on their system that didn't live up to the promises.

I think it says something to how repetitive the game has become and looks like it is going to stay for a long while with no news on updates or on xbox/pro team, that even the few guys in here that would play the game almost all the time and gave us interesting things to look at from their games are starting to get bored of the game and play less and less.

there is no way Ross can say now that the play numbers keep getting higher or there is heaps of people playing daily, and even that there are no returns happening

Microsoft don’t give a shit about AFL 23 and how good or bad it is

They care about their legalities and studios/publishers following the rules, which big ant broke when they released on one console before the other (they had good reason to imo but that probably doesn’t matter)

Sometimes the most obvious/logical explanation is the right one

Pretty obvious that Bigant don't give a s**t about Microsoft either as Ross has quoted previously that Xbox sales make up a very small part of their business.

Its pretty obvious Microsoft would see what was supposed to be there on release and go wtf, bare bones games or games that are prone to crashing tend to get questioned more by them.

Releasing on other consoles and breaching contracts would have been the final nail in the coffin.

I dropped down to just over 10 hours played per fortnight. I've boosted it back up to 15 per fortnight currently.
A far cry from the 40-60 I was doing previously

Thanks very much. Its been doing my head in. I was expecting it to just be x for heads and o for tails. Am about to have a game now so ill give your instructions a go. Will be a relief to finally have that worked out.

I did say I have no interest in returning UNTIL the next patch or proteam. I’m hoping somehow the next patches give the game a something extra it doesn’t have to make the game have more variety. I just don’t know what that can or will be though

I agree. I haven't played for a while now and don't plan to unless they drop something good for management mode in the upcoming patches. I'm not holding my breathe though as I honestly believe Bigant has the management mode where they thought it should be. I honestly don't believe it was planned to have anymore depth. Deepest game my a**

I’ve got a feeling that the next big patch will probably be the last one and it will be the one to include support for Pro Team and bring all platforms up to scratch. If it releases whenever the Xbox does (let’s assume Mid-August) then there’s only 6 weeks left until Cricket 24 which I assume at this point would be most hands on deck. Praying for the next patch by this weekend though

Ross reached out to me after I published my article and said that BA don't use Steam Libraries for online, they use the MS-owned PlayFab service. I haven't been able to find any data on that

Funny how everyone was hating on Microsoft in late March/early April when everyone fell for BAs bs. Hindsight shows that Microsoft were by far the smartest stakeholder in the AFL 23 market (alongside potential consumers who chose not to purchase).
