Poor by the AFL to have the saints at the G. would be much better at marvel in every aspect.
Money, fixture fairness, atmosphere, look.
It would have happened if all 4 finals in week 1 were played in Melbourne apparently

Could always play it in Geelong...would get 45k at Marvel and be a great atmosphere and it is our home ground and we earnt a home final. But nah, let's stitch the Saints and play it at a less than half full G. Dogs, Nth and Saints the only sides to NOT get home finals. Typical AFL.
Is that quoted by the AFL?It would have happened if all 4 finals in week 1 were played in Melbourne apparently
Not an option. AFL have scheduled it at the G. Keep up.Could always play it in Geelong...

It wouldn't. As has been repeated a billion times they have said they'll play a Sunday final if there are 4 games in Melbourne in the finalsIt would have happened if all 4 finals in week 1 were played in Melbourne apparently
How about u get your members & supporters to actually show up instead of whinging about it.would get 45k at Marvel and be a great atmosphere and it is our home ground and we earnt a home final. I thought they wanted to avoid the Sunday so they can have a flexible fixture with no sides having a 5 day break. It wouldn't. As has been repeated a billion times they have said they'll play a Sunday final if there are 4 games in Melbourne in the finals
Is Melbourne vs Collingwood not worthy on a Friday Night? Carlton gifted and looked after by the AFL yet again.
Gifted? If you put us on Thursday then the winner of Carlton/Swans would get an extra days rest compared to loser of 1 v 4 which would be unfair to Pies/Dees. If you put us on Saturday it would create a 2 day rest gap which makes no sense eitherIs Melbourne vs Collingwood not worthy on a Friday Night? Carlton gifted and looked after by the AFL yet again.
That would mean the loser of Melbourne Collingwood would get 2 extra days rest compared to winner of Carlton/Sydney. Current fixture eliminates those significant gaps in rest daysBrisbane vs Port should be scheduled on the Friday night with Carlton vs Sydney on the Saturday night.
Played in QueenslandSaints v Bulldogs Prelim final in 2010 got 62K... Talk of 70K+ is far fetched.
I suppose it's still a slight advantage to St Kilda. They played at the MCG twice v GWS once....
How about you get your supporters to see out the game instead of slinking away when losingHow about u get your members & supporters to actually show up instead of whinging about it.
Then u wonder why people call your club insignificant
Funny thing is more probably left then u get to a gameHow about you get your supporters to see out the game instead of slinking away when losing

Hilarious how you think by jumping on the bandwagon of a "Big 4" club you think you are somehow superior as a supporterFunny thing is more probably left then u get to a game
When u schedule games on a school night these things happen - especially when it’s a dead rubber.
Pretty sad that u can’t even get supporters to show up for finals.
You will be out by week two, so at least u won’t embarrass the real Vic clubs for long
That’s because we are my friend “we can’t sell out the MCG, please let us play at the little stadium”Hilarious how you think by jumping on the bandwagon of a "Big 4" club you think you are somehow superior as a supporter
deadset, u guys need to have a good hard look at yourselvesHilarious how you think by jumping on the bandwagon of a "Big 4" club you think you are somehow superior as a supporter
may as well write in your native language and we can use google translateThat because we are my friend “we can’t sell out the MCG, please let us play at the little stadium”deadset, u guys need to have a good hard look at yourselves
Blues don't fear either Melbourne or Collingwood at the G. Juicy match up. Wouldn't want to be heading to Brisbane or Port. The Melbourne/Collingwood/Carlton/Sydney side of the draw looks spicy
Equally as hilarious are supporters from less historically successful clubs (like St.Kilda) thinking themselves more noble for supporting a 'battler'.
Most of us are born into the clubs we support.
Seriously how do you expect anybody to put in the time and effort to read that vomit of wordsFunny thing is more probably left then u get to a game

Worked out well for everyone else, the 2 minnows play each other first up, so the clubs with real supporter bases can have more tickets moving forward.
