Like so many stories involving Dan the truth is yet to emerge.
The first witness on the scene has testified in the civil case currently being heard that Kath was in the passenger seat when she arrived on the scene moments after the crash. I guess its conceivable Dan got out of the car and Kath slid across to the passenger seat. I guess its also conceivable the witness is a card carrying LNP voter
The witness testified she thought it strange Police were not conducting an investigation and even allowed Dan to drive home to drop the kids off. Police would not afford that privilege to you or I. Add to that nobody was breathalysed and the witness was never questioned by Police.
We now know that Dan's Chief of Staff at the time was an ex policeman who by a stroke of extreme good luck now happens to be an Assistant Commissioner of Victoria Police.
Is it any wonder this story won't go away?
