Nah. Tom Morris has said a few times GWS will be interested in offloading the Haynes contract. Hasn’t been linked to any specific clubs yet, but stands to reason the clubs who could most afford it would be us, * and the hawks.

I'd like Haynes regardless. Understand it's not a view everyone shares, but I think he still has some good footy ahead of him and he'd be the best stop gap we could find whilst Logue recovers. If they throw in something like a second rounder, even better.

It is different for each individual and doing an acl doesn’t always shorten careers. While Flynn and Hollands have lost pace and athleticism, Docherty hasn’t. Fingers crossed for Sausage.

Almost feel sorry for the journos on how they are going to spin stories for the next 12 weeks when you consider how dull this trade period is likely to be.

I think we will see a lot of the TT story ark. 1 journo will go with a weak lead that player a is leaving. Player A wont respond for 3 days which will get everyone excited and then player a will "honor their contract".

He is still more than capable of playing some really solid footy. He had games this year where he had 25+ disposals and 10+ marks. He has probably slipped down the pecking order at GWS a bit because of the likes of Himmelberg shifting back, Idun developing so much and Cumming/Whitfield playing that distributor role.

He'd easily be best 22 for us. I'd love to see him in North colours playing the same role Ziebell did. Haynes would intercept better and provide better counter attack as his kicking is top notch.

Old mate obviously didn't do his research. Hollands tank is the main reason why he can't get a crack at AFL level. His repeat efforts just aren't up to scratch.

Obviously got him confused with his brother who has an elite running capacity.
