Caleb Windsor went undrafted in the mid season phantom draft which I was kind enough to point out at the time- how high do you think he can go now?
ps I get plenty wrong and I enjoy your insights
Pushing top 15 now, a fair few players didn’t do themselves favours this week and Windsor really stood out.

PMBangers not sure if it's been asked yet but has Mckercher played much outside of the centre bounce? (Wing/hb/hf) do you think he has the tools to play any of those positions?

Not much from my memory, but given his endurance base he'd be able to pretty comfortably slot onto a wing early on in his career, but personally I wouldn't want to keep him away from centre bounces for the entirety of his career
Any chance of Curtin getting to 7?
I'd be really surprised if he found his way that far down given most of the teams picking before then are in need of some quality youth KPD stocks

Mckercher has played plenty of wing in last 2 seasons including allies games at times this year and alot of the time last year

Also a little half forward

He’s built for the wing at afl level , can see him eventually moving into the centre square in year 3 like Errol Gulden has

What do you see as a more pressing need for the Lions a key forward to help Hipwood and Daniher or a young ruckman to help the Big O ?
Depends on what happens with Madden and where Henry Smith is developed long term I guess. I'd say it's easier to bring in a ruck with AFL Potential in this draft in the second round personally, should have guys like Green and Goad available with Vigo Visentini available later in the draft/ rookie, whereas the KPFs in that region are more speculative

Apologies if you've already answered this one.

Cats have now got like 6 senior list spots and one pick inside 80. Paul Connors the other day mentioned only 45-50 names called out in this draft.

My question is if there's any names that would be on the borderline of getting drafted that you rate that might fill those 5 spots

Who would you have freo looking at with there 1st n 2nd picks based on needs?
Joel Freijah on a wing would appeal I imagine given Henry is on the way out, a little further down guys like Pheonix Gothard and Koen Sanchez might appeal as possible Walters replacements in future

Jeez hard to say, I've got about 50-55 names I think are ND worthy players, of those I'd expect guys like Oscar Ryan, Billy Wilson, Lachie Charlson to be in the bunch that's left at the backend, but it's hard to pinpoint who'll be available atm

Yeah it's a bit of a hard question given the random nature that deep, but unless the cats are adding half the available free agents this year they clearly see some depth to be delisting Simpson and Whyte

if they think they aren't up to it, no point keeping them.

Could this be the oft predicted yet to be seen, Geelong off a cliff moment.

Lot coming out this year, but not really super top end, the worry will be the performance drop in some of the remaining older guys.

Might be worth Geelong trading out next years first for the Gold coast pick 4. At least start to bring in some top end talent for the future.

I digress, sorry Bangers

Certainly worth considering.

The cliff is supposed to be retiring players though not delisting 20 year olds.

Think the issue is that they have traded out early picks for a while to bring in some guys to stay at the top. Hard to recruit well with low picks, so end up cutting all the blokes you picked up in the 40's and 50's
