He wouldn’t be playing for his career. He just happens to play for the best side in the competition that play a very specific game style not suited to him.

He’d likely play every week for 17 other clubs and just kicked 38 goals in his second season.

Pretty sure the AFL will would veto this trade. Weightman and Ginnivan would be too much in the same forward line and opposition fans wouldn’t take it well.

10, 17, 36 are the same number of points. Also 10 allows them to split again with someone like Adelaide with 2 2nd.

I think we get this done easy, 10 is real useful for GC.

Yeah even 10 and 17 should be enough when you consider splitting 10 (and possibly even 17). Might be in our interests to involve other clubs are pre-organise the splits to prove the highest points value.

Acres is an example of smart recruiting for a specific role. This is what the Dogs lack.

We do not get players to play a role and know their position on the ground and how to play it.

I'm only for Tomlinson if he's a last resort, back up option considering Bruce, O'Brien and probably Crozier will come off the list. Also that JOD, Buss and Cleary are prioritised first.

Only problem of course being Tomlinson wouldn't come knowing this and I have ZERO faith that Bevo would actually share the same opinion.

Therefore lock in Tomlinson for 18 very uninspiring games for us next year.
