This is fineHow hilarious would it be if the pies win and Big Bustling Billy has one of his rare blinders of a game like he did against the Dogs last year…
Now this is going too farAnd wins a Norm Smith!
Hope you can forgive the intrusion, but I come in peace as they say! Just re this list, Hawks never got pick one as a PP, as others here have noted; we traded McPharlin and Croad to Freo for it. We got a PP in 2004 and in 2005. Had we not got the 2004 pick we would actually have taken Franklin with our natural pick but because we knew Richmond who also got a PP that year would pass on him but take Roughead we picked Roughie first. We did lose out pretty much on Franklins comp when he left though, only getting pick 19 as our comp. Hard to get a like for like replacement for him with that! And the other three have all had certain leg ups recently.
Does Gill not know he’s leaving and has no future say if anything will change or not?
This ego driven flog needs to * off
Tex and Sloane had their chances in 2017 at least.Billy Frampton is going to be a Premiership player.
Not Tex, Sloaney, Boak or Robbie Gray.

119 reasons why he never had a chance even on GF day.Boak was in Port's 2007 grand final team

Laughed at his criticism of Chris Scott, saying Geelong have benefited from father-son so he should jog on
I’m guessing Howe is forward and Frampton backNow they just have to hope he doesn't kick for goal like he did for us in 2021 when he booted 2.11 over 8 games (including a streak of 7 games where he returned 0.9).
What about Walker, Brown and Crouch? Weren't they special sauces?
Walker was NSW academy, Brown and Crouch were something else
Brown and Crouch were the result of losing Phil Davis to GWS
Really?
Some quotes in this thread about Rendell identifying him as a major talent.

We’ve got Welsh coming up as Father/Son who is apparently a total jet. So they’ll change the F/S rules no doubt, like they did for Gibbs.Hope you can forgive the intrusion, but I come in peace as they say! Just re this list, Hawks never got pick one as a PP, as others here have noted; we traded McPharlin and Croad to Freo for it. We got a PP in 2004 and in 2005. The list above could also note that Geelong got a huge lift through F&S getting Scarlett, Ablett and Hawkins for picks in the 40s, as was the system in those days, and then they were given two first rounders in comp when Ablett left to the Suns, so they’ve had their share of luck like most others.
Sydney and GWS have other mechanisms to help them of course.
So it might just be that your folks really are the only club to miss out. That’s really not fair if that’s the case. Hopefully you’ll dnag done F&Ss or something to even the ledger a bit.
Anyway, sorry for the intrusion. And for the long post! Hope nobody minds!
Why is North holding the AFL hostage? They have now said they won't let McKay go unless they are guaranteed top tier compensation??? That's not how free agency works. Supposedly if they aren't given pick 3 they'll match Essendon 's bid and make it extremely difficult for them to acquire McKay's services.
AFL are building a monster and it's utter bullshit they are getting assistance for ******* their own s**t up.
