Mich Cleary now saying port may trade 25 elsewhere to get other deals done
After searching the posting history of your ITK I think Geelong is waiting to see if the crows trade up specifically for Sanders. That makes the most sense to me. If they do I think they'll trade outI agree on most of that. Only thing I can think of is if you're keen on making a few moves before trade period ends and want some picks to move now rather than on draft night
Agree.He will make it.
Whilst it's tougher to make it these days if you're a tad slow, he has a good engine and hulking frame. Chook Constable was a featherweight by comparison. This bloke is a mountain.
Agree.
He's more Will Gould than Constable, he's a big boy and will need a pre-season, but it's not all puppy fat.
He's got a legitimately big frame and will convert to a Josh P Kennedy body composition IMO as he gets into the system.
He's not Constable at all. Despite being much bigger, he can actually run. Might not be the quickest, but his endurance won't be an issue.
If he's available post 40 I hope he swoop in.

Thats what happens when you give up the farm to get JHF & Rioli. They don't have much trade capital left yet they want to pick up players on the cheap.Exactly. They want Esava, BZT, Sweet & Soldo. It's 48hrs until deadline and they've achieved 0/4.
Would be pretty ironic for them to refuse a future first, then trade said first, then give us what they got for said first.I'm guessing we're pushing for Freo's F2 as part of the deal along with 25.
Ports forward line isn't good enough. Far too reliant on Dixon who has to be patched up and pushed out of his wheel chair to play. Finlayson, Marshall & Georgiades go missing in action too often & young Lord is still very raw. It's a bit wierd the whole Esava being the difference between Port winning a flag or not common opinion. I think back to early 2022, travelling to Melbourne from Perth (home) with my wife and seeing the Cats getting smashed by Stkilda. At that point I literally thought there's no way we can win a flag, our list is crap. After that we won the rest of the games for the season... maybe i should visit more often lol... but back to point...
There are intangibles that lead a team to winning a premiership. Of course putting a player or two in helps which helped Collingwood. But it doesn't really seem like a list is the entire picture for a premiership team. Likewise Port getting Sav doesn't mean much for there flag prospects imo.

Hinkley won't win a flag with this group but he is trying to top up before he goes.
very unlikelyBut hopefully he is playing for the Cats next season !!!
very unlikely
It shows the weakness of this draft that the top key position players are being touted as picks after the top batch of mids…. Usually the high quality talls are not slipping through to 8-10 like caddy and O’Sullivan…..I've thought all along he was no chance to get through, talk Dees and Dogs dont need mids baffles me, sure they are loaded for ready made talent but they have next to nothing coming through, especially the Dogs who will lose Treloar and Libba before they know it.
Yes maybe, but NO writers or commentators think there is any chanceDefinitely - Positively - Maybe
Usually Cal Twomey does his mock draft weeks before the draft night.. his usually bang on the money on the 1st round ( top 10 )
So it will be interesting to see who Geelong are named too,
Honestly, I reckon he is most likely gone inside top 30, and wouldn't shock me if inside top 25.At post pick 40 he’d be worth taking the punt on. Reckon he will be there then too.
He feels like a Sydney pick to me.Honestly, I reckon he is most likely gone inside top 30, and wouldn't shock me if inside top 25.
I'd take pick 25 insteadBut hopefully he is playing for the Cats next season !!!
Thats good..if he ends up in the draft they wont get him and i still think he might turn around and stay if the options are say geelong or north in the draft.
Agree.

You, and others, have said this a few times.
But it’s based on nothing. There’s no precedent. It’s literally never happened.

Stevens certainly runs much better than constable endurance wise.
My main question is whether he has a second position to make it in if he doesnt as a mid. Some of his games at half back were encouraging in that regard as his disposal seems reasonable.
Yeah that's what I ment...His final mock comes out only days before the draft...
