Do you believe everything you read?
Do you really think Lamb didn't tell Adelaide this before the interview?
Do you believe that the whole trade period is conducted via the media?
Do you believe the media doesn't sensationalise minor stories or fabricate stories at trade time to fill their advertisement heavy trade radio shows and newspapers?

To many questions but I will run with yes 😐

Jeez it's embarrassing how many times Collingwood have fleeced us over the past decade. Paid a first round pick for Dawes, traded Howe for Ben Kennedy and Mitch Clark for Lumumba while they got Varcoe, then helped them get Grundy off their list just for fun too.

I was disappointed when we delisted BenKen. Thought he had more to offer when we did.

That's how I'm selling the prospect of Sanders to myself.

I don't like the pick, but he seems the type that could come in straight away and give us a bit more flexibility with Trac.

Obviously a big hypothetical, but strikes me as the type that people would be hugely happy with for his first couple of years (as he's more than ready to go), but his limitations will stick out more as his career progresses and he could potentially frustrate in future.

Regardless, I'd consider him to be one of the safer picks in the draft. Can just find the footy.
Could have just gone and got Taylor Adams instead of wasting a prized pick on him

Luckily Broomhead was injury prone so the Dawes trade didnt look so bad. Was a good player but just couldn't stay fit.

Ah yes ye old Ben Kennedy who injured himself and supposedly lied to the coach about it and was also was part of the four banned for a match for breaking the drinking rules on a short VFL turn around

Could play, shot his own chances though

8 years on their list for 37 total games. That's Juice Newton vibes.

He stayed as long as he did coz he was talented, they would have let him go sooner, glandular fever, wrist, shin, hamstring, broken leg when he kicked the post

Good ol' Concrete Mitts Dawes.
I saw Dawes play for Sorrento a few years back. Bastard clunked everything that came in his general vicinity.

He still managed to kick beautiful looking balls that just missed the goals by less than a metre, so at least that was consistent.

tHe MeLbOuRnE wAy ... what a way it is. Just bring me competitors, skill level irrelevant.

Ryley Sanders come on down. :(

Yeah nah.

Stop making up s**t. Proves you've clearly haven't watched a second of O'Sullivan play this year and are basing your argument on zero facts or evidence.

See, if you had actually watched any live games youd noticed that he hasn't come up against any notable key forwards this year because not only are there aren't many gun key forwards in this year's draft but he's also spent time up forward in some games for the Murray Bushrangers because one of his strengths is his ability to go back and forward.

'Sully' played off in the senior grand final this year for the mighty and tough Albury Tigers who have built a strong reputation as one of the most fiercest and successful country football clubs in Victoria/NSW. Played up forward and played well against Yarrawonga who are also another renown tough footy club.

The kid can absolutely hold his own against men already.

It's nice to get the views of people who have actually seen them play, thanks dazzle

Schultz is a bargain for what they got him for.

We're out here giving up F2's for an uncontracted McAdam and Collingwood getting Schultz for a 2nd and F1
Schultz is the perfect target for a team who's just won the flag. Instant impact that is still affordable enough you can get him with less valuable picks. Most likely will provide more than those picks anyway.

A pick in the 30s and likely something around 20 next year when all is said and done after the AFL's bullshit is a fleecing for a player of Schultz's quality. Not to mention he was under contract.

Dunno how Freo fans feel but if I was one I'd be ropeable with that return.
Yeah bizarre, even if they kept him until his contract ended and he still left they'd either get the same first rounder or an early second if Collingwood have a hangover which is unlikely. Might even get a few more clubs courting him which wouldn't hurt.

Twomey also believes Melbourne will push hard to secure Pick 1 with a trade of pick.
