Draft and Trading board is a good read. Don't think I've ever seen such blatant cognitive dissonance by a group of people, based on absolutely nothing.

I think everyone has been so accustomed and comfortable to us bending over and being compliant - as soon as we show some back bone they can't handle it. So happy Todd is at the club.

He's not, and never again will be, a NMFC person. He actively champions NMFC to fail and clearly takes pleasure when we do. That his puke is deliberate, and given air on the AFL's own website is a little damaging to the club.

My read is that he felt that the above meant he should have some inside access to the club, but at some point someone told him to FRO and he's held a very bitter grudge ever since.

When the wheel turns there should be no room on the bandwagon for him.

Damo has a soft spot for us because he grew up a supporter, and had family supporting us, and that's about it. Doesn't stop him from doing what he does , he's just a run of the mill journalist who's only real concern is generating clicks and listens with negative (and frequently exaggerated if not borderline fictitious) stories.

The only "die hard supporter" aspect of him is that if a club died he'd get hard because it would be the biggest story of his career.

The past few days have been a final act of grand nuffism, at first they went apesh*t because it was perceived we were getting special treatment, and when quizzed about how most of their clubs got some of the best players of their generation for free as priority picks they insisted, with a straight face mind you, that those situations are completely different because that was simply how the rules were back then. Now we end up getting something in complete compliance with the rules they way they currently are, the reaction is even worse makes me wish I didn't love football as much as I do, because the type of nuff-biscuits that you end up sharing this hobby with becomes pretty disheartening after a while. They just jump on whatever inaccurate bollocks is floating around the ether and happily and unquestioningly roll with it and collectively repeat it. I reckon there are millipedes in my backyard that are more capable of flexible and abstract thought than half the plonkers in footy circles.

Because I did hear them read out someone's e-mail afterwards (clearly an SA based fan) unloading with both barrels and setting her rant straight. I think she was complaining about all of our assistance picks, ben mckay

It's pretty sad that she hates the club that much stretching back what 40-50 years? get over it.
And you'd think she'd have moved on considering Richmond's success in recent times but nope. It's actually sad that a grown woman working in the media and an industry where objectivity is paramount harbours that much of an intense dislike for a football club who has achieved nothing for 20 years.

Takes me back to her look of complete joy this time last year when announcing that Clarkson would be the new Essendon coach.

i read on the main board some sydney swans snoozer had the audacity to suggest we only existed due to "stealing" money from tasmania. i said how rich coming from supporter a club that lived on edelstones money. the memories of some are extremely selective.

And after the criminal made a mess they had to send Ron Joseph up there to teach them how to run a club. Then they plagiarised our culture and renamed it after the "Bloods".

It's made them successful but at their heart they are still just a shallow imitation of an actual football club.

I don't mind Trading Day on Fox at 5pm every day and then repeated 17 times to fill the evening schedule before showing the GF again. It's the whole day's trading summarised in 30mins. Except every day they get to around 20mins and run out of stuff and having to fill. One day it was panel members trying to remember the biggest coach spray they ever saw. Yesterday it was Dal Santo talking AFLW. Once it was a 5min ad for the Tszyu fight. Often it's Ben Dixon

So, answer me this as a person who hasn't ever listened to 5 consecutive seconds of live Trade Radio.

If a show dedicated to wrapping up the day's trading, can't find 30mins of content every day, what do they do on Trade Radio??

About 70% is ads. About 27% is has beens coming up with dumb trade ideas and views on rumours and hypotheticals and opinions of trades completed. About 2% is Phil Davis saying interesting things that have not much to do with trade week. About 1% is the breaking trade news you tuned in for.
