It's all well and good to say he can kick inside 50, so can Hunter, Fritsch, Brown, Chandler, Pickett, Trac, Spargo etc. Doesn't matter if we don't get the ball in their hands quickly and in the right spots.

Solid trade period, lost our midfield depth, lost our back up ruck, got in a couple of TBA players, traded out 2 picks to move up 3 spots not exactly sure for who though. You'd almost think we weren't in our premiership window and were trying to go backwards. Nice of the club to make a splash. Didnt even manage to hold on to the future draft pick we got. Perhaps might've been better off using 27 to get Mcadam so next yr when the draft is deeper and we realise our depth is horrendous we actually had a few extra picks to address that. Its fine though im sure Fullerton will do a stand up job if Max goes down or cant ruck for 25 games at 32. Look forward to us doing the same thing next yr that we did the last two yrs, im sure results will be different, certainly hope so anyways.

But no in all seriousness it was a bit of let down trade period but that doesnt change the fact had we kicked straight or had Petty in Septembergood chance wed be premiers so i didnt expect huge changes. I am a bit concerned about our lack of midfield depth, what id like to know is can we trade Stafford for a good fwd coach? Apart from a key fwd that would be rly good and is what we need most.

Billings is just a lazier version of Spargo.

Can kick it just as far too!
So similar. So much so that Billings has averaged double the disposals of Spargo over the course of their careers (including averaging 26 disposals one year, with Spargo's career-high average being 12 in his first season).

Wouldn't be surprised if his manager wanted a nice contract and collingwood gave him a take it or leave it
Ginnivan was contracted for next year though. They are clearly happy to let him go.

Might not be anything sinister, could just be they don't see him in their side next year and were happy for him to take the opportunity the Hawks were offering.

True they really don't need him

Keen to see Ben Brown resurrect his career in that Daicos role

Yep, but surely the more good kicks in the team, the better? I'm pleased because it indicates to me that we've at least identified it as an issue, rather than completely burying our heads in the sand.

He's no world-beater, but give me someone who kicks it to his teammates more often than not.

Footy clubs are so funny sometimes.

Alan Richardson just can't stop himself from recommending recycled Saints flogs: Dunstan and Billings.

It's like SOS double-dipping on all his failures again and again. Some of these blokes are too loyal

I suspect Billings must keep his lawn in immaculate condition.
