I've been oblivious on many occasions. Ridiculously so. One of these days I'll put a story or two in the AFS thread.

Odds are better in the cities. Easier to shake things off and try again when you feel more anonymous too.
That's nothing mate got one 100 times worse than that from around then haha.

On this day in 1940: American novelist Ernest Hemingway published his classic novel For Whom the Bell Tolls; it was later adapted into an acclaimed film.

I've never read a Hemingway novel. Are they hard, should a nitwit like myself just not bother?
The Old Man and the Sea is easy to read. It won the Pulitzer Prize and Nobel Prize for Literature. Taught it in a few classes. I first read it in high school.

I saw Hemingway's home and museum in Key West Florida on my Bahamas cruise. It's home to a bunch of polydactyl(six toed) cats. Hemingway loved cats. He named his cats after people, just like me - Barry, Jordan, Lily and Zsa Zsa.

We share a birthplace - Oak Park, Illinois.

Have you seen Midnight in Paris. I know zero about Hemingway but his character in that film is a scream.

Post a picture of Zsa Zsa.

My sister's foster cat is apparently starting to get pretty friendly now.
