Read a couple of articles yesterday had some interesting stuff.

- old mate that started the bidding on Steph and Gians ****ed up, was meant to say $2.9999999 instead said $3.999999

- lambo guy admitted house 3s auctioneer offended him by calling it a raffle and that made him not bid

- lambo guy also admitted the $100k increases on his own big were showing off

There was also an article with house 3s auctioneer defending himself that didn’t really defend anything, he made a big deal about a CA Vic rep being there which meant he couldn’t really do much (essentially admitting most auctioneers cheat most of the time in a shock to no one).

Wouldn't it be lovely to have THAT much money, that that mistake isn't really the end of the world..

Watching it again on 9NOW, when Brett & Kristy are going off at the Auctioneer, you see him smirk as if to say he thought they were idiots.

It's a shame they've allowed their auctions to be hijacked by egotistical dick swingers trying to buy celebrity.

That article says the agent had 6 calls and 8 emails immediately after the show - if even a 3-4 of them turn up on Saturday you've got a really interesting, organic auction.

I feel for them a bit, i didnt really watch the show fulltime, but i am aware of their "story" and behavior, its still a bad beat.

I think (for me at least) its also just so ****ing dumb that two couples won $1m plus, two won around $100k and one gets $65k. Like the credibility of it all is in the toilet. Leah and Ashs place was at least 2nd or 3rd best and they make $1.5m less than the winner? That just ****ing idiotic.

Anyone has the right to go to an auction and bid however amount they want, it's a free country. Yall sooking it up about credibility, I doubt you'd be sooking right now if you were Gian and Steph

Well i dont see anyone actually blaming Steph and Gian. Good for them, good for Liberty and Eliza too. Its not their fault, hence the comment about the show.

Having a bunch of cashed up millionaires bidding against themselves for a house that was at best 4th best on the show just looks ****ing stupid. Its so far removed from reality it may as well be scripted at this point.

The discrepancy in dollars for very similar products is the issue for me. If Liberty and Elizas place was worth a million dollar prize then Leah and Ashs (by rights of quality) was worth similar. If the spread was like 1st place $500k and went down to $65k sure, that still ridiculous but its palatable but $1.7m to $65k for similar products and efforts is dumb.

If you dont like the show and its "credibility" with cashed up millionaires- dont watch it

If you dont like the thought of winning only 65k on it- dont do it.

Sure, that doesnt make it immune from criticism though, were allowed to point out how farcical the result it.
