Asked to compare himself to an AFL player, Curtin named interceptor markers Darcy Moore and Sam Taylor, while he models his midfield game after Patrick Cripps given the Blues skipper carries a similar frame.

“I love having the ball in hand and using it. I’m a versatile player. Pretty good with the ball in hand. A good user by foot who competes well,” he said.

“I’m a big competitor, missing a lot of last year I had a lot of want built up inside me to try and make it into the AFL. I’m just really keen to get out there.”

An approximate 10cm growth spurt between the ages of 16 and 17 saw Curtin move from the midfield to playing key position, and he’s still putting on size after only going to the gym in recent years.
Also from there, does this sound like just a KPD?
It included the left-footer racking up 23 disposals and five marks in that WAFL colts grand final, claiming WA’s MVP award after averaging 24 touches, nine contested possessions and five tackles while going at 82 per cent by foot in four carnival games and even playing six WAFL senior matches for Claremont.

The historical rate of playing 100 games or more for draft picks 30 to 50 is 32%. So about 1 in 3 can be expected to make it.

Hmmm Delean will blend in well with his ‘West Australian hair’. Hope he makes it, would’ve liked him, still feel he would’ve filled a glaring hole on the Crows list.

Officially more picks this year than last year

“Shallow draft”?
Port: “were glad we got out of this draft.. dont rate it highly”..

also Port: use three late picks in said draft…

Will need to work big time on his defensive side at AFL level as a smaller forward and not the quickest. Footy smarts is his one wood.
Sounds a bit like James Rowe.

Not if the coaches can help it, after all, utility is only valuable if a player is mediocre in their primary position.
Utility is critical in the modern game. Obviously want to be dominant in at least one position, but it can't be your only position.

Serious question, Geelong have mainly had late picks other than Sullivan.

Where does that put their list?
Still very old but not quite as old.
