i think they were just being cheeky and swapped their jumpers because their numbers are opposite
But why did someone want that combination to be displayed? The other players holding their numbers spell out the start and current point of the club's history.

I think that one was just a group shot, as Adams, Parker & Mills were all holding their jumpers up as well because they were at the front.

There was a separate photo that had just the 1874 & 2024 numbers with only those players in it.

Aren't there the pictures where just 1-8-7-4 and 20-24 jumpers are displayed, and those where everyone is displaying their jumpers but you can only see the front row (including 13-31)? I don't think 13-31 is of any particular significance to the Swans unless it's the time that they resume work after lunch.

New Guernsey

Very cool! I like that it's so different to the normal jumper

It's the anniversary jumper that we will wear to celebrate our 150 years in Round 1.

After all the hype, its quite a letdown with the other options we had available as throwback nods to our history.
I’m sorry to be a oppo fan coming into your thread but surely it would have just made sense to just use this design as your home guernsey this year instead of a one off guernsey…

Let me first say I think Reid has been a valuable player for us, was a huge absence last year and may even make a bit of a swansong this year, etc etc.

That said, my instant reaction to this headline was "So how come you and brother get so many injuries?"

It may not be genetic. Reid and his brother probably have a similar approach to their footy. Reid plays a very physical game. He crashes any pack he can get to, uses his body as a battering ram, goes in hard for ground balls and seems to love doing the things that many talls might be wary of. According to teammates, he also trains at high intensity. In short, he has no sense of self-preservation.
