They will be up there with the Swans with one of the worst offensives to ever win a flag if they pull it off.

Todays sun (I was in a cafe) showed only pies and power were beating top 4 and top 8 opposition. Brisbane slightly behind.

From Melbourne down it seems all teams are beating up to a more or lesser extent on teams lower down the ladder.

I feel squiggle isn’t really showing this right now, for some reason

On the other side of things brisbane beat top 8 on the road - pies notsomuch

No real standout team, Pies started well but fell back to the pack


Teams came from 14th and 15th late in the season to make prelims because the season was so even

The stats don't lie, this is the worst premiership side this century. A flag is a flag though, so you always take it. They are brilliant when it comes to winning tight games, but they will never be seen as one of the greats, their 2010 flag was something else.

Pies went 18-5 with 127%

2016 Bulldogs - 15-7 with 115%

2017 Tigers - 15-7 with 118% despite finishing 3rd they only were 3 wins above 9th

2018 West coast 16-6 with 121%

With evidence that assumption seems to be wrong. Since the season has started, most teams have gone in a completely different direction on the graph to the direction they went in the practice games.

Squiggle will correct pretty quickly if the practice games were misleading. Might take some accuracy out of the early season stuff though.
