Knew after last weeks win we were going to struggle tonight … too much emotion last week.

Seriously though the amount of goals we screwed up was remarkable. I’d say around 7 … where we had them on the turnover and just fluffed it.

Big H was huge and so glad for him. Ball hit Curnow’s boot and should have been a goal but still massive brain fart.

Talking of brain farts there were sooooo many.

I hope Voss really lets them have it. That was as putrid a win as I’ve ever seen, but hey better than a loss.

If I am concerned, what I am concerned about is Tom De Konning.

Nankervis - to be honest, every single Richmond ruck - treated him with utter contempt tonight. He didn't just assume the space, he stood there and invited Tom to do whatever he wanted. In his position, his ribs were available, his head was available, his knees and groin were available; what does Tom do? Absolutely ******* nothing. He doesn't try and force Nank to do anything different; Nankervis just ******* set up under the ball and ******* grabbed it out of the ruck.

To say that the rule change which removes HTB as an option in that situation is dumb is missing the point. Despite the goal he kicked and his last 10 minutes, Tom got smashed tonight by his refusal to get dirty. He wants the clean tap, the massive leap, the globetrotters play, but there's more to rucking than just tapping the ball.

You need to be willing to hurt your opponent some. At the moment, Tom's a labrador when we need a rottweiler.

He was a big part of getting us over the line, in that last quarter…

Yep, this. I think that the biggest change is this group is that we used to find ways to lose, and now we find ways to win. When the game was on the line in the early part of the fourth, we found a few goals in a row and then defended the lead with gritted teeth.

Our next evolution will be putting games out of the other teams' reach earlier. That'll come.

I can only tolerate that Roaming Brian crap for 10 seconds so I am only reading on here what players are saying etc. Sticking a microphone in a 2 year olds face is downright ridiculous and the TV went off.

Spoke to diesels grandson moments later. Asked who his favourite player was and had he met him. Kid says cripps and yes. Taylor asks how he met him. Kid says through poppy Greg, my grandad diesel. Bt says aw diesel hey, clearly has no idea who the kid is talking about.

Roaming Brian is the most awkward thing you'll ever see on TV. Would rather a couple of organised interviews.

Game wise, not our best win but we're 2 and 0. If we'd kicked better it would have been much more comfortable but we move on. Looking forward to a comfortable win though.

Wind was a factor, not the factor for goals missed, but flukey. Missed goals cost us an easy(er) win overall.....Charlie!!?
Has Boyd got a goal yet? Kicked his too hard and high. Then you could tell it was on his mind as he mucked a couple of tidy ups straight after.
