I generally don't mind Tom Morris but this assessment is just plain wrong. Let's be clear, Buddy suffers from crippling anxiety and doing interviews etc increases these issues. To say we were done with him because he didn't want to do a final media interview smacks of media dummy spit.

Matthews made a point that he thought Franklin moving on and freeing up money to get Grundy was better value going forward. Was this a shot at Franklin ? If it was, It was done with some decorum so to speak. Your friend come in at the end with the utter garbage that the Swans were over him in 2023 and wanted him gone. Garbage as I said. Any decent journo would know the esteem which Franklin is held in at the club and would not have the temerity to try and suggest that a club with the culture that this club has would want to see the back of him. Did they want him to retire ? Probably Yes but have the decency to report it that way not with the shit he put forward. Again happy to discuss Tom Morris or Craig Hutchinson with you at any point in the right forum.

I’m more interested in whether Rowy, Ollie and/or Logan have “moved on from Sydney” (I’m assuming Errol hasn’t).
