Cats got another free for taking the legs when the Hawks player was clearly playing the ball and Cats player came in from the side and completely kneed the Hawks player in the back .... umps just don't get the rule and why it was brought in to stop players sliding INTO legs

It was a clear free to the Hawks player 15m out

So no taking the legs free kick against Geelong then?

When? They literally awarded one against the Cats for taking the legs about 3 minutes ago on the outer wing?

Big Footy game day threads have literally just become nothing more than an observation of every single event on the field and assessing why a supposed nominal league or umpire-favoured team got a decision in their favour.

Just a reminder that in a game where they’ve had less of the ball and less tackles Hawthorn are still winning the free kick count

Where was the taking out the legs free then? It impacted the Hawthorn player from getting the ball??

Umps stepped up when the game was in the balance.

Watch us get a few late cheapies to even it up.
