If Max marks 30 out, he should take the mark back to outside 50, he never misses.

Couldn't spot Dow in either two half ground match sim, but he was probably in the green bid somewhere.

I'm pretty confident we'll make a game of it. Don't know whether we'll sneak a win but I'm not expecting the blow out others seem to be. Admittedly it's not a good time to play the Giants when we have five or six mids unavailable for selection.

I just feel the Giants form whilst good, is in part due to their pretty soft draw so far. Already played Roos and Eagles, an out of sorts Pies first round and who knows where the Suns are.

IMO our finals loss last year to them was definitely impacted by the Membrey saga. All up I think we can be competitive for most of the game but they'll probably get us late.

Well the question in the presser was about the giants having 4 gun talls and they listed them.

They he goes but Cordy Wilkie and Battle are good talls the other way.

Unless they swing Sharman back, we are definitely a tall short down that end

Just worth keeping in mind that Riccardi and Cadman do a bit of relief ruck work. Those four and Briggs are rarely all on the ground at the same time, and one of them is always in the ruck.

Brown is more of a mid-sized forward though and rather mobile so I would say a medium defender would be more appropriate for him.

Any chance Caminiti out and bring Hayes in with Hayes sharing the ruck and resting Ro in defence to help against the Giants forward talls? Hayes brings a ruck/rover element to the team. Maybe too early for Hayes?

Understood.

But it would make sense to bring Howard in and run Cordy as a tall defender/back up ruck as opposed to Caminiti going from tall forward/back up ruck wouldn’t it?

That would mean our forward match ups would look like:

King/ Taylor
Membrey/Buckley
Sharman/Himmelberg seeing as we use him on the best interceptor.
