Fined, no conviction recorded:

Going to be hilarious seeing TT join the circle for prevention of violence against women next year. Don’t know why the AFL bother with their virtue signalling if they’re not serious about making a difference.

IM sure they can rest him that week through a secret drug test result and call it "soreness".

Afl clubs exist to win premierships (with exception of port), not set "community standards" or whatever the phrase is. so if TT will get a team closer to a flag then it's frankly a no brainer
Frankly, it's a no brainer to treat women with respect and set it as an expectation of every single person.

Play on words.

Not a Terry Pratchett fan?

You reminded me of this quote:

“His progress through life was hampered by his tremendous sense of his own ignorance, a disability which affects all too few.” ― Terry Pratchett, Maskerade.

Nice googling. I'd be keen to see how you link Terry Pratchett / fantasy literature to the conversation here. Also interested in your justification of the use of his made-up noun as a verb.

And I suppose 'pearl before swine' is another clever play on words, since the saying doesn't use the singular form of pearls.

But hey, do what you must to save face.

As I said - pearl before swine.

Well....

I don't think you have thought through the post, or how it applies to what character really is.

Take some time and see if you can work it out. ;)

I think we can make some assumptions about the moral qualities of someone who has repeatedly terrorised his partners lol

I hope Geelong pick him up.

He gets things sorted out.

And he stars for the Cats for a decade.
I always suspected you were a sanctimonious hypocrite but wow, even that doesn't mean describe it adequately.

So, let me get this straight. For you, drug cheating is incredibly bad, but onboarding a player with a repeated history of domestic violence perpetration is something that you can live with, provided it benefits your club?

People think "character" is just something that pops into existence. Or that it is immutable.

Character is something that grows and is formed.

We learn from our mistakes.
We turn things around.
We are guided and transformed to be more whole and complete as people.

Geelong FC makes an effort to develop people's character.

I hope Geelong FC pick him up. He gets things sorted out. And has a brilliant career with the Cats.

That is a hope of good character, for good character.

It's simple when you think about it.

I'd be more inclined to believe you if he'd offended once and hadn't already been told to knock it off by his club, his actual employer (the AFL), as well as the police.

I HOPE he has a long, stellar career with the Cats.

Lance, Luvthekangas, etc, jump the gun without thinking or applying wisdom.

It is BF after all.

Read the second line of my post Lancey boy.
I already did and was frankly stunned at the use of the passive voice and a truly repugnant euphemism to downplay something like being a perpetrator of domestic violence, particularly for someone who has already having multiple chance to "get things sorted out".

But look, as long as your club benefit, all good, no worries hey?..

Unbelievable 😂

Let me quote you, yourself:

You'd think Sheeds is behind the scenes in all this.

Hird should never be allowed back into the AFL system full stop.

Would you make an embezzler your treasurer?
You are embarrassing yourself here

Hahaha. 😂😂

You are the king of self-righteous judgmentalism.

Stick to bullying kids and defending Hirdy.

Roms 14: "4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand."

No one here answers to you Lance.

If we're quoting bible verse at each other, I think Matthew 23:27-28 is far more apt.

"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.

"In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness."

You've exposed yourself here, and it's not pretty

As I said - pearl before swine.

Do you understand the idiom?

You're hilarious. You are asking if someone understands an idiom that you can't even get correct.

Not as funny as being so ignorant that you can't spell 'masquerading', then when you're called on it, you google what was wrong, find a spurious reference to the word (as a fantasy) and pretend that was what you meant all along.

Imagine being so insecure that you feel the need to come up with this ridiculous pretence, rather than just STFU when your ignorance is called.

Night boys.

I wonder if you will still be on the line in the morning. 😂

Wow! Got you reading scripture.

I didn't know you knew Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

I didn't think you believed in God.

See you in the morning little mate.
