Thought Weitering was outstanding and Charlie showed he is able to run down field so maybe is getting over his niggles- which offsets losing Cerra ( again). Martin and McGovern will be better off for their game - both excellent in parts.

You know how when your side plays well and maybe should have won but ends up just getting beaten, some fans try to cheer themselves up by claiming a moral victory?

Tonight I learnt that the opposite is also true. Sometimes you finish poorly but nevertheless manage to hold on for the win, and some fans insist on making themselves feel worse by claiming a moral loss.

We won. We're not at our best, and frankly I wouldn't want us to be at this stage of the season -- it's May, not September -- but we won anyway. This week is a good week.

Some people seriously overrate our list, i think it must happen in all clubs supporter bases. You’d think because we have Curnow, Harry, Walsh, Weiters and Cripps we should win a minimum 20 games a season and flag comfortably each season.
