What story has he broken from Richmond. He knew Hardwick was leaving about half an hour before it was announced. Gales departure was speculation based on pretty obvious links. Similar speculation on Baker, Bolton and Rioli Morris just puts 2 and 2 together and hopes he gets the right answer. Occasionally he gets it right but he never admits it when he gets it wrong.

The rumours now will likely have more weight to them given Yze was talking a couple of weeks about getting an answer from players on their futures shortly.

We need to keep Rioli and cash in on Shai and Baker IMO.
Rioli is too critical to our culture.

Will be interesting to see if Maurice signs anytime soon. We’ve signed a few of our younger players recently. Will be a big clue as to whether this has legs or not as I think Maurice will follow Daniel to GC

Would be sad to lose Dan, but I don’t think he’s not going to be part of our next flag. We would get max value for him this year if he leaves for the suns and if we get a couple of cracking kids in for him will be well worth it. Don’t want Maurice to go with him, and in the short period he played this year seemed to be allowed more freedom under Yze. Hardwick will have him back to the defensive forward running around like a headless chook so hopefully he doesn’t want to go back to that

I think we will take easily that. We have 6 picks to 54, and 4 from 58-76. Bundle a couple of them for slightly lower and you could have 7 or 8 picks under 55. That is not even taking into account losing a player like Baker.
Easy to find 8 or 9 delistings, retirements or leaving.
