Speaking of, remember when Adelaide lost 5 games by under a goal last year and then missed out on finals by 1 game? And then came back the next year and were nowhere near it....

This year really needed to be our year. Unfortunately there's no guarantee our players have a good run with injury or form next year. We've fully blown it. Even just hold on against Essendon and we could've got Treacy and Pearce back for finals and really challenged.

Thats why making finals is so big, they can easily go straight sets, prelim absolutely on offer for a 5th to 8th team this year
