Look at the Lions last year, best chance to win the flag and blew it, primarily because they played a MCG tenant.

Also look at the number of years that teams like the Blues, Saints, North etc have been without a flag. Our flag drought could go on for another decade.

Keane was terrible this game. Cost us a lot. Buttsy would've been a help.

Nicks is way to slow to make a move. We had the ball so much in the mid and contests but couldn't / wouldn't kick it forward cos of their extra, often resulting in over possession and spilling it so we either needed to man up the extra or put an extra back (which we did eventually when it was too late). Meant we kept badly losing the territory game. Also in the second half we stopped the kicks off the deck and little taps and tried to take too much possession. Our fend offs were nearly all ineffective again.

Would've loved Dowling instead of Curtin tonight.

Murphy gonna have to be displaced out of the team next season surely ppl will have gone past him.

Bond ok.

Conditions didn't suit Gollant. Played ok. Should've kicked better at goal.

Berry frustrating with his fumbles but also did a lot of good things.

Sweet probably beat ROB in the ruck. We badly need another ruckman, ROB gets banged up and drops his level of performance and it really hurts the team.
