The Storm and the Panthers are on another level, hopefully it's a great GF.

It's not good for the NRL though when those two teams are so much better than the other teams.

Hopefully the new Western Bears team can compete with them, they should also bring back the Newtown Jets.

I watch Fox. So much better imo.

My Kayo has run out and nothing to make it worth keeping up, but even then I prefer the live FTA over slightly delayed Kayo. Sharks app gives notifications of scores and they usually come through a play or two before they happened on Kayo!

Not a perfect effort from Penrith but they just know how to get it done and how to ratchet up the pressure at exactly the right moment and smother you.

There are a lot of similarities with the Storm but at the same time some nice differences - the old saying about how styles make fights in boxing.

The Storm to me are a team who do all the little things right, they absorb the best you can throw at them and then when you screw up, bang: they take advantage and they make you pay.

Penrith as well soak up what you can dish out but they tend to press you a bit more and force their game on you until something gives and there’s a relentlessness about how they play when they are on.

If they’re both at their best I can’t wait to watch how it pans out next week.

I’m glad Cleary gave the bunker a spray. That was a terrible decision.

So was the one not to give Talakai 10 in the bin, comparitive to other times blokes have been binned this year.

lol, bunch of whingers, that’s a clear as day obstruction penalty and always has been.

But if we’re binning players for any late shot that’s not high, where was the penalty and sin binning for the one on Katoa when the ball was already dead, the one that actually hurt the player unlike Talakais soft hit that Luai recovered remarkably the second Klein blew the whistle…

Anyway, great to see the Sharks girls belt the Donkeys today to make the grand final.

You’re a sharks supporter yeh?

Lolll at some suggestion Luai took a dive or something. A 115kg bloke smashed into him while he was standing still with his back to him. Whether you think it was late or not, he got belted. And what’s more he bounced up pretty quickly all things considered. Many wouldn’t have.
Yeh I really can’t stand Luai but really can’t say anything about that call seemed wrong.

I was an avowed disliker of him but my tune has changed in the last 18 months. Has matured a fair bit I think and I enjoyed his face to face with Yvonne Sampson, and having met him and hassled he and three of his teammates to give a little video message to my girlfriends son while they were having lunch in my home town earlier this year and seeing how happy he was to do it - and talk to others being just as annoying as I was - I was really impressed.

Look I respect him. He’s tough and hard and proven he’s a player in his own right without Cleary and I’m sure that person to person he’s probably great but the persona… not a fan.

Not a dive, but you’re the one suggesting it was the biggest most brutal hit that deserved a sin binning when he was fine. Yet other late hits which actually put players down, crickets…

Your post was as absurd as Joey saying it was the worst cheap shop he’d ever seen in rugby league history…

I’m sorry I’m trying to find where I said that….. nope. Can’t find it anywhere.

It wasn’t the biggest most brutal hit.

It was late and he had more than enough time to pull out of it and deserved 10 in the bin based on every precedent. Simple as that. Players have been binned for next to nothing this year when the player has let the ball go milliseconds before being hit. Whether they are injured or not is irrelevant because the indiscretion isn’t based around hitting someone high or spearing them into the ground it’s FOR BEING LATE 😂😂

That there was extra force in it only enhances that fact.

They had already dodged a bullet when Rudolf stayed on the field after a blatant trip: ok it was written off as a reflex. Could have easily been a bin but it wasn’t.

lol, every grade 1 penalty is now 10 minutes in the bin? When did that precedent come in?
