Port fans giving feedback to the club on these crazy trades is the only thing stopping their recruiting team from pulling the executioners switch. Keep calling the club and voicing your concerns Port fans, seems to be working.

Now this is not to say that one or more of them won’t be terrific, but if the shoe was on the other foot, and someone who barracks for another club listed their young group and you’d hardly heard of any of them, would you not be saying the same sort of thing he’s saying?

Notice how #23 never gets mentioned in trades its probably because of what Richmond want and what GC get in return for it which is most likely salary for Rioli.

This appears to be a collingwood problem to solve as GC would be able to get same or better from north & St Kilda got their #13

I agree Noble's value has been inflated massively. The three way deal only suits Pies - I don't know why Port/Suns don't just split everything up. 13 should never have ended up at Pies anyway - Dees originally, then Saints and now North all had better offers for it.

Even our offer was better and I don’t want to trade up for 13. Surely if a bloke is worth pick 13 he’s had BOG games right and done well in a B and F! Noble is a handy role player every club needs them but it would be your 18th to 30th rated bloke on your list!

You have to remember first round picks have far less value to.GC than any other club. They likely value getting through Noble and Lukosius trades higher than getting maximum value for 13.

I'm sorry but I hear this every year about the Suns. Why can't they just get better value and push it into next year's draft? They can get Noble for a pick between 35-45. Lukocious could easily have been done as well without 13 getting involved. North was offering their F1 for 13 - that's a massive offer that just had to be accepted.

I don't disagree but the fact Collingwood is even in negotiations with their F1 and Noble as chips tells you at least one club is going to willingly be screwed. History tells you it's probably.going to be GC, at least Port realised they were getting rorted

Maybe if the league introduced a player breaking a contract needs to payback 10-20% of the remainder of his contract remaining would make a difference. After all they are breaking a contract

Noble is not worth 29. I have him worth 35-45 because he has a contract. Without a contract he would be a pick 50-55+. Agree on Rioli but - 13 is a fair deal for him.
