Meaning over two years Henry, Macrae and Kemp for a second round pick, as the second we gave for Henry was traded back to us with live trading on draft night.

The bottoming out and rebuilding of Richmond with abundance of picks in my head could work well. Big clubs have luxuries that the rest of us don't, not limited to top end of free agency appeal.
Maybe I'm bitter, but if they get the picks right I don't think they will have any problem beefing out the list

I bet GWS would love to take that trade back. They basically gave a way their 2nd rounder this year so we could grab Darcy Wilson whereas they grabbed some guy stuck in the twos.

Kemp has actually got quite a bit of Battle circa 2020 about him.
Highly rated in his draft year 3rd tallish type, slid a bit, not the most agile but good in the air. Don't know how Kemp is in regards to his aggression/competitiveness but it seems he's played a bit above his height? That's also similar to Battle, and you'd assume a Lyon/Enright defense and playing next to Wilkie/Howard would do wonders for him.
Smart trading allround if we can turn Battle and 27 into 8 and a player pretty similar to Battle. Bonus points if we then turn 45 into Macrae

Prefer we hit the draft this year with 32.
He's not really a key defender just another mid-sized utility… we should go after Lewis Young if we're looking for coverage for key backs.

He's a very good role player. With Weitering's injury issues Kemp was regularly thrown to the wolves against bigger & stronger opponents.
Reckon he'll thrive under Boris and the Boss.

Apparently has been forced to play on talls due to Blue's injuries. However, the view is he is meant to be that Battle third tall defender. I think this guy could flourish under Enright and Lyon.

Probably plays as Battle role/Third tall back interceptor. At Carlton he's been forced to play on Keys I actually think he is a good get. Clearly not as good as Battle but there's scope for improvement.
