Must say I'll be fairly disappointed if we don't end up with a solid backup ruck. Soldo wasn't the answer to all our problems but I always worry about Marshall copping an injury.
I think Marshall is much better developed as a forward now than when we had Ryder, and Ryder's ability to win hit outs made our weak midfield much stronger. I was looking forward to having some more ruck options but it seems like we'll be relying on a Preuss type.
Obviously the hope is on Heath - he desperately needs to come on and show something at AFL level this year or he starts to move towards the delisted group. After 3.5 years in the system he can't just be playing VFL.

sighOwens?
Isn't there less incentive for Blues to want a future 2nd if they need points for the Compo Pick twinsEven better than 32 IMO.
So 47 for Macrae and a future for Kemp.
We retain 7, 8, 32 and 45.
This must be how Essendon feels every October.
So either it happens or it doesn’t.Twomey said 50/50 chance for Kemp
They can always use it to trade back in to this year.Isn't there less incentive for Blues to want a future 2nd if they need points for the Compo Pick twins
They can trade the future 2nd back into this draft!!Isn't there less incentive for Blues to want a future 2nd if they need points for the Compo Pick twins

Id assume so, i dont really care what they want. Id also happily do 32 and 47 for Macrae and Kemp now.Isn't there less incentive for Blues to want a future 2nd if they need points for the Compo Pick twins

Surely 32 is way overs?
Bloke has clog written all over him.
Gee, just had a look at Brodie Kemps 2024 highlights package, more than just a handy footballer.
Definitely a team player too.
