F2 & F3 for Kemp & Pittonet

I don't think Carlton would consider that, but I have wondered why we don't seem to have shown any interest in Pittonet, he's average but he's probably the best ruckman who isn't a starting 22 player.

Will Brodie is another I would have thought we would have at least considered as a fall back if Macrae doesn't come through.

If the club is committed to this dual narrative they're two players, who while being average, are competent in areas we lack and wouldn't cost much.

I guess it's more down to list spots than anything, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Hoffman and Peckett make it through to the rookie draft.

If they only want future picks our F1st & F2nd for #10?

I imagine Richmond will be very busy on draft night cashing in on desperate teams and sliding players.

Yeh just said to a mate we likely need to trade futures for some stuff to get Peckett and Cole too.

Frankly i dont care if we trade everything for 25 and 26.

Definitely a team player too.

We dont have to do anything. He's automatically an unrestricted free agent. He can either sign the 1year with us or move.

Can Kemp play on a tall forward?

I’m not a fan, but in fairness to the lad he is good in the air and has good hands.

He would be better as an interceptor or a player who peels off his man.

He would need cover around him and be assigned a very specific role.

Decision making under pressure has also been questionable.

Needs to play within his limitations ie Howard & get it into NAS/Sincs hands at all costs

I love Membs but he is fringe best 22 at absolute best now and almost certain to be Sandy depth by years end.

He was our best performed key forward this year.

Although I do agree he will he fringe, but mostly because we be developing Caminiti and Sharman. Neither have made the position their own though and King's body has been an issue.

Our list is better with him on it then without.

Yep, FA is over. Either they give us a nothing pick for him or we delist him and let him walk.

If we are that desperate then we offer a third rounder to Carlton for Kennedy.

He's still good value considering our most mature key is now King. He helps structure up the forwardline and would still have great value to us off the field. Worth his spot as depth too.

Yeah but he or Hayes wont be as trades. Leppitch said they wont be doing any more trades - the Pies are meeting tomorrow to see who they offer the senior position to including Tomlinson.

Creative. It would need AFL approval if we are trading-out F1 & F2.

The flaw is that North slide back from 2 to 8 and they have indicated they don’t want to slide back more than a few spots.

And would Tauru be there at pick 8? Maybe. Tigers won’t take him with 1 & 6. Saints won’t take him at 2 & 7. Nor Adelaide at 4. Carlton and Melbourne unlikely at 3 & 5 but not impossible.

North might be tempted with this.

If it's the best thing for Membrey I'm happy for him to play anywhere. He's more than paid his dues, wouldn't begrudge him a chance at success before he finishes up.
