To be fair, I agree with his stance on Bailey Smith. If Geelong targeted one of our top 10 draft picks who looked elite in their first couple years for a late 20+ Frdp only, I would be pissed and rather he walk to psd.

Any other club would be paying 2 x Frdp. Baily Smith has also royally screwed the club that drafted him here regardless of Bevo playing im in random positions.

Jack Hayes likely to be retained now as our second ruck, not ideal for positional depth but I think if we see the best of Hayes he makes our team better

I love Hayes. Could be a real spark for us if he can adapt to the rigours of top level fitness. And great pressure for first team players week to week.

Yeah nah- the dogs have (to a degree) pushed him out and made him surplus.

Just like they did with stringer years ago- you can't be making it all but untenable for a bloke to stay... but then play super hardball at the trade table.

Agreed. Geelong should not have this amount of power in such a trade negotiation. They should be trading their first rounder and other collateral to move up the draft to trade for Smith.

It will be interesting to see if the dogs actually follow through with getting kennedy.

If they dont; to me it would look like they were playing games- ie trying to make us pay more for macrae by making our plan b look in jeopardy.

If so- sos has handled the dogs little games beautifully.

It was said on TR that the WB has offered Kennedy a 3 year deal.

Pick 24 is going to be so valuable for Richmond too. Will be the first pick on the second night of the draft, so any players that slip from the first round other clubs will be offering a fair bit for it.
