Admittedly it's a pretty high bar but to be fair that's probably the worst group of midfielders I can remember GWS having on their list since their very early days. Ward will soon be pushing 40 and Coniglio is close to washed.

All is probably moot now WC are reportedly keen though. Brisbane would be crazy to deal with anyone else based on the evidence of the last 24 hours.

Why should the lions expect anything for him? He's played mostly VFL his whole time there and effectively the entirety of last season. Will be delisted next season anyway

The aim is losing 500k and getting someone cheaper, not draft capital. Moving on Dev and lets say signing Mitch Hardie on 150k was a much smarter move then keeping Dev for 1 more year and burning cash for no real gain
