No.Is your surname Cousins?
My two were told they could barrack for another team if they wanted to, so long as it wasn't Essendon.
They are both Hawks now but given their age it turns out they hate Geelong more than Essendon.
All Hawks since then!Similar , mine were allowed to choose at birth and all chose hawthorn. I’ve even said they can change teams if they are happy to change address at the same time. None have taken up the offer.Mine were told they could barrack for anyone they liked once they protested. They were shocked at my response of freedom of choice.
Then added if you do not barrack for Hawthorn then, you don’t go to gamesAll Hawks since then!

My mum and sisters have been trying to steal my kids to the saints. Took my boy to Moorabin for AFLW round 4, He came back singing the Hawks song and asking "why do the saints lose all the time?".The AFLW Hawks have done some heavy lifting for my nieces. They go to every home game down in Frankston and love it.

Mr 5 was pretty keen on the Tigers until I took all 3 to the second Richmond game and he saw the Hawks slaughter them, now he’s a Hawk and knows the Tigers are “really bad”.
My daughter had been flirting with being a Collingwood supporter due to a school friend, she came with me to the EF against the Dogs and she’s absolutely rusted on now.

Well, can you?I went with my 9 year old Carlton supporting son to the Hawks v Carlton game this year. Well we know what happened. Still no sway.
So I did something I’ve never done before in my life and went to a game that didn’t involve the Hawks. We went with my oldest son whose a Hawk and the 9year old to the Carlton v Stkilda at marvel. It was truly a strange experience being at the footy with no brown and gold. But I did get to witness up close how pathetic and annoying St Kilda supporters are. We know how that game ended.
So after the game I said to the 9 year old what’s it going to take to sway you to the Hawks. He said .. only if Crippa gets traded to the Hawks. I said Ok I’ll ring M.Voss at the club and speak to him. He said…can you do that dad.
I had to laugh.

On another point who do they think they are fooling? The AFL
All this ‘last minute activity’ when every time they showed any recruiters they were sat twiddleing their thumbs (or on bigfooty)
You guys are lousy parents
My three boys are all HFC members
Even the one with no interest in football says he supports Hawks
The other two are fanatics
Same with my two kids!Mate, as soon as he had a name he had a Hawks membership. Kept pestering my wife to commit to the name choice so I could sign him up.
Told my boys - there’s no such thing as second teams !My son told me at age 8 that he was going to barrack for StKilda, the year they lost to Pies in the replay. I promptly told him that's fine but asked where he was going to live?
He returned, obviously after much thought, 'Dad, i think I'll make StKilda my second team."
"Wise choice son." I replied, knowing full well that they would always make us look great.
