That race in HK when he just went down to RW he missed the kick but he didn't sit at the back of the field like most Aus jockeys do. He rounded them up in running and still stuck on in the straight. He’s best horse by a mile in this race is Prognosis
I’ll be on him too
Concern though is if gets far back that joke of a 180m straight might see it a bridge too far
Should put some juice into the Prognosis priceNice win by Via Sistina today. Think she will need to go to another level to beat Prognosis or maybe even the 3yo but is capable of that

Fangirl is a bet at $15. Barely got going last year ridden for luck on the fence. I'd give it as much chance as anything else against Prog. I assume it backs up after the King Charles which was a week earlier last year.
Waller said almost certain she goes King Charles into Champions Day and doesn't run in the Cox Plate. Which is disappointing
Would be a fantastic field, but absolutely guarantee they will fill a third dividendAnother Wil

That's likely going to be the full field for mine. They might try to squeeze one more in for 3 dividends on the day but it will be slim pickings if one of the other 3yos doesn't go huge in the Guineas
Wouldn't put it past Gai throwing one in at late notice. None of those will serve it up to Jenni.Another Wil

Pride of Jenni will go to Sydney this week - only one horse that can be it there.Prognosis be licking his lips after today.
Broadsiding went ok from a bad spot but didn't exactly rip home better than those around him and if he can't take a forward position in the Cox Plate there is just no chance he can get home better than Prognosis and beat him.
Another Wil pretty much gonzo making it look like a small field
The only worry I have with Pride of Jenni is the other jockeys being incompetent like they were in the QE. Her reputation largely lives off that shit show.
That and the fact she will have to back up the next week into a CP from interstate which isn't a great lead in and she also won't have had a run over 2000m this prep before the Cox Plate which I don't think is ideal
Or even $5 with pointsbetI'm not a huge fan of the horse but Docklands @ $4.11 to place probably value in what looks like being a field of 6 or 7 and a few with very hit or miss potential
First cox plate I plan on attending in long time..It's going to be interesting if anything out of the CC or KC3 backs up into the CP.
When does Declan Bates put the hammer down and try and break their hearts??
Does anyone try to go with him and try to turn a 2040 race into a 2400m staying test??
Going to be an interesting 2 minutes.

My last one was Adelaide winning.First cox plate I plan on attending in long time..
Think last one was SYT
Hopefully the hype of the race holds up
Looks like there will be only 6 starters.
