Burgess has said a few times that AFL pre seasons are too long. Maybe hes given the players an extra few weeks off. Even if thats true fitness wise, you would think for skills/game plan, the more sessions the better.

Burgess has been involved in 1 flag, and it was a compromised season. I think his guru status is way overblown. No doubt he’s not in the bottom few, but it’s highly doubtful he’s the best and even if he is, I expect there’s SFA difference between the top 15 high performance teams.

Very much so. I believe the injury record of his time in the Premier League wasn't great.
