Agree. Sidebottom is the player he is most likely to replace. Looks skilful off both feet and has exceptional agility with a good sidestep. He looks quick but not lightning and his endurance is very good. If he plays outside on the wing or half forward he could play this year.

It's raw and you can tell by his reaction, all his hard work has paid off. The family have clearly been on the journey alongside him and I'm sure they have had to sacrifice a lot. I like that it was only the family in the home and not the 50 other stupid mates.

Young draftees typically don’t get many senior opportunities in their first year under the Fly regime. Unless they’re a freak like Nick Daicos.

So not expecting our draftees to be very 2025 relevant. But I’d imagine Hayes is the most likely of the 3 to get games given Harrison is out, we lost Richards, and Elliott isn’t getting any younger.
