Yeah might be simply Beal is moving to a 6th man role and having nothing to do with Butler. Trade makes no sense and is not workable at face value, there is not enough draft assets possible to attract a tanking team to eat Beal but he has a no trade clause anyway. Man that guys agent must be good.

His on / off numbers are like -9 & +3 so he is a 12 point negative net swing. His best remaining value might be a little ball hogging with 2nd units. For the next 3 years, ouch.

Miami won't take Beal. Suns could be forcing him to waive the NTC to get out though in a 3 team trade. Not sure who would take Beal but there are basketcases out there. Exhibit A is Beal's NTC

I wonder what it would take for Brooklyn to take Beals deal on. Simmons expiring goes to Miami with Beal to Nets. If all sides give Nets a 2032 1st rounder maybe Nets just take that deal.
