Not based on what Erasmus has shown so far in his AFL games. He has been pretty ordinary in his AFL games to date.
He hasn’t had a block of games though. He is usually the sub and in and out too much.

Even gun AFL players take a week or two to get back to normal.

Once he gets that block, watch his output grow as he adjusts to the pace of the game. He’s the best mid in the WAFL, he should reach role player status in the AFL at minimum.

I think it hurts your future but it is highly subjective of hurting the present. A young kid gets 10 possessions with a few "glipses" and it's lauded over Fyfe getting 15 with a few shocking kicks and he's finished. The AFL is professional and coaches have the stats on all of this, I trust their systems over the eye test when potential and decline are such polar opposites to a fan.

It's great to go out in top form but if the corpse of Walters can kick our first of the GF in the first 5 minutes of the 1st quarter, we are on our way and it's been worth it.
It's the lack of defensive running from Fyfe which is difference.

Rather play a kid who runs defensively with 5 less possessions.
