Northern Bullants v Casey practice match that was scheduled for 8th March at Casey Fields has been cancelled. Bullants looking to set up a match on that week.

Any particular reason for the cancellation?
Don't know why. I'll take a guess and say that Casey is the team that cancelled the game, maybe because they're playing at Casey Fields on March 1st, they don't want wear and tear on their ground.

After all, it is a football ground.
Does it mean that when it's been raining and the ground is soggy, football can't be played on it?
Please tell the Big Bananas, who make such petty decisions, that football is a winter game.

it would have to be because of player management, not the state of the oval in the best weather month of the year

Accept
BTW, when Willi n Werribee were told to merge, ALL of the Seagulls supporters were going over to Port.
There's rivalry, but also respect.

I accept that might be true but maybe you can tell that to the locals at the golf club (who are predominantly Williamstown fans) who are very quick to not use endearing terms when they describe Port Melbourne fans (especially myself) - YOU PORT Melbourne /:{{}#% YOU PORT SCUM, GEY OVER THE WESTGATE ! Yea I agree theirs a rivalry there but not as fierce as years gone by but it’s still the strongest in the competition. One could argue the venom leaving the rivalry could be seen as a positive. Long live Port Melbourne and nsy long live Willy (with hopefully less premierships and better record keeping than amateurish adding 2 flags to totals) !!!

Biased, but Coburg/Bullants have to be up there too

True, you would probably say that is the second biggest. What’s it due to ? Fighting for the same local players ? Love going to both those historic and attractive grounds,

Yeah, feel it's similar to Essendon and Carlton in that way. Dad was a Strathmore kid so it was Essendon on the Saturday and Coburg on the Sunday.

We also consider you guys rivals dating back to the 70's/80's similar to Essendon and Hawthorn

Werribee star Jack Henderson has been given an opportunity to train with WCE for a spot on their list. Dom Sheed has a long term injury. If Dom Brew and Hendo both end up on a AFL list, Werribees midfield will be significantly weaken. The bees need to make quick reinforcements cause the season is fast approaching.
