Who’s going to go big for Victoria to chase down 300+?

But it’s a great sign when the oppositions no9 is a better batsman than your no3…
Victoria can continue to pick 5 bowlers, Harry can be the 5th one, brilliant ball for his maiden first class wicket!!!
Not sure Harry bowls much in premier cricket but I might be wrong.

Merlo I can understand your frustration but for me the bigger issue is we're picking someone because they're captain.

Is Sutherland in our best 3 seamers? He sure isn't a top 6 bat. And we regularly bat him in a batsman's position where he scores little runs.

He’s been battling injuries this year, but he offers enough with the bat to compensate for the lack of a no3. But he needs to bat at 8 as part of a 4 man attack.

But we also have the luxury of having a fast bowling team that can be rotated to keep everyone fresh, something the test side refuses to do despite the 4th quick being better than the captains mates.

Our 5th bowler should only ever be a Maxwell or Short who can be picked for their batting alone.

At least he made the right call here to bowl the part timers ahead of the no rounder.

Not sure you will see much of Maxwell in shield any more and could be similar with Short with the way they schedule white ball cricket especially for Australia these days.

Theoretically 31 overs left today. Doubt all get in. 270 is very achievable but need to make sure we're no more than 2 or 3 down overnight, don't care if we only have 4 on the board.

It’s an absolute road and Victoria should chase this down with ease said some lunatic…
Who said chase it down with ease? I said we're favourites and that it's a very achievable score. One very good ball doesn't change that. All the threat is in the air instead of off the deck.

See, when you criticize my posts you always exaggerate what I've said. Why is that?

I could say the exact same about you…

But anyway that injury is probably why the Victorian selectors would turn around and say that’s why we pick 5 bowlers…

We rarely bat him at 8 in the last 12-18 months though is the problem.

2 down, 215 to get. We're probably still ahead but the first 10-15 are crucial tomorrow. Probably need contributions across the board with one bloke getting 60+.
