I am ready for trial games. I feel like the best 23 is very close to locked in. Will be interesting if any of the 'best or the rest' type players can make a late surge into round 1
At least the memes are entertaining. The infernal dick measuring is a deadset yawnfestPeople whinging about arguments and not training report related posts
We then have 3 pages of memes and other rubbish![]()
Agree with all this except I don’t think Milera is a lock, rather battling it out with Nankervis and Jones. I also hope we have Taylor and Pedlar higher in the hierarchy than Murphy.I've been confident all preseason that there's 21-22 locked in
Murray, Keane, Max, Hinge, Laird, Milera - bench Worrell
ROB, Crouch, Rankine, Cumming, Dawson, Sholl - bench Soligo & Peatling
Tex, TT, Fog, Keays, ANB, Rachele - Bench ?
Those 21 seem as locked into a best 22 as can be without injury or ridiculously poor performance in trial games. Curtin I feel strongly is locked into the 23, but not as confident he's in the 22. There's a few players around the mark for the final forward/mid rotation bench spot or sub that played last year if Curtin isn't in the 22 - in number order Berry, Murphy, Pedlar, Taylor & Dowling. If Curtin is in, then we can add Jones and Nank to the sub possible list.
My thoughts are exceptionally similar. Feel like 1 or maybe 2 position battles are lingering on the flanks/bench. Particularly down the spine.I've been confident all preseason that there's 21-22 locked in
Murray, Keane, Max, Hinge, Laird, Milera - bench Worrell

I'm fans of both, but its really now or never for those 2. I don't see it being easier to break into the side next year. For their sake they need to crack it early and be best 23 for a good chunk of the season IMO. Otherwise it's only gonna get a lot harderWould really love to see Chayce and Harry turn it around this year and show something. Both have genuine best 22 potential imo
It's definitely last chance saloon for Harry, given that they shifted him onto the rookie list last year - a very strong indicator of where he stands/stood in the pecking order.I'm fans of both, but its really now or never for those 2. More disappointed than shocked I thinkIf the most recent match sim is an insight, Worrell could be in the 2s with Smith back in the 1s. Murray, Keane, Max, Milera, Laird, Hinge & Smith. I think a lot of posters would be surprised, but would any genuinely be shocked?
I think Draper is ahead of Berry and co, perhaps sub, otherwise you are spot on (IMO)I've been confident all preseason that there's 21-22 locked in

He's fairly tall, great kick, scores goals. There's a way in for him if he's able to get involved more.Is Cook just making up the numbers until his contract expires? Is there a way in for him given the improved depth we now (hopefully) have?
Good players find a way at lower levels. He's fairly tall, great kick, scores goals. There's a way in for him if he's able to get involved more.
Unfortunately we play him in football Siberia on the HFF and he's not able to accumulate much on his own.
I love it how the melb media thinks Curtin is going to play at half back
Literally NFI
