Changing to pink and black (not charcoal) feels like a slam dunk. I know it's aping Inter Miami, but it works. Just keen to see it in the flesh first.

There should be zero attachment to red and gold for the Suns given it is associated with a decade-plus of poor on-field performance.

Pink/black shorts is so much better than red and.. light red.
Wish they had just done it for 2025.

I’m not sure about introducing arbitrary rules for the sake of it. I think a club should wear what they want, obviously as long as they don’t clash against the home team when playing away.

The team are the ones who benefit through merch sales by wearing it, so they’re already incentivised
Teams should wear contrasting colours against each other, whether that's cool v warm coloured teams, dark muted vs light muted colours, etc. Umpires should be the only ones going colourless like before 2003.

I wonder if the 'fearless' promotion of it is the club straying away from a consistent colour scheme in future. Sure, for promotion reasons they can stay red and yellow, but on field they'll start wearing literally any colours.

They could rock up in green and gold, blue and pink, black and red, gold and silver, you name it. The brand is the Suns, you see the logo on the front, that could be all the consistency they want.

Had a similar thought earlier in the week about this opening doors to literally trying any colours and seeing what is the most popular. The club has suggested that the jumpers released late last year were only phase 1 and that there would be more to come so there's probably some weight to the theory.

I think we need minimum 3

Away games other than v Sydney teams (pink and black logo)

Away teams v Sydney Teams (blue with yellow or yellow with blue)

Home games (red with red or ideally red with yellow logo)

One-offs for occasions could be all black with pink, or red, or gradient from pink to red logo.
Maybe white with red logo.
Sky blue with red logo.

Its really limitless

It gets the coach’s tick of approval

If there’s lots of public support for it, as can definitely see it being worn more often than initially planned. Somewhat similar to what happened with the GWS “Never Surrender” jumper

Expansion Cup with Giants in NS and Suns in FP would go so hard

I reckon Dimma and the club looked at the overnight sales after they launched and realised just how popular it is. If you go to the Suns Shop website, you'll see these items are currently sold out (already) and most were sold out in less than 24 hours:

2025 Pink Guernsey: L, XL
2025 Training Guernsey - Pink: XS, S
2025 Hoodie - Pink: XS, S, M, L, XL
2025 Hoodie - Charcoal: XS, S, M, L
2025 SS Tee - Pink: XS, S, M, L, XL

I've been sold on the pink idea. It would give GC an instant identity and actually looks pretty good.

The hoodie and t-shirt in their shop pair the pink with a BLUE logo.

It's an absolute branding mess.
Doesn't seem to be turning anyone off. Since this morning, the medium pink guernsey and the large & extra large pink training guernseys (with blue writing) have sold out. This is the updated list of sold out pink items on the Suns Shop as of right now:

2025 Hoodie - Pink: XS, S, M, L, XL

What’s he meant to say? It looks shit?

How so? Does it not look good?

Well five seconds ago they were pairing pink and charcoal, and now it's something different again.

The new branding is barely a few months old and they're already pushing hard on completely different sets of colours. Why would they not integrate this into the relaunch?

And I feel obliged to mention that the jumper design and logo are still awful.

I don't think that can be used as a measure of popularity, to be fair. We have no baseline for comparison. For all we know, they might have ordered 20 items in each size.

Women’s side wearing it at some point too by the looks of things. Apologies if already posted. Telstra and Cotton On logos look smaller than usual as well.

That would be because they're Belgravia jumpers just for the promo pics
