That's a really poor analogy. An F1 team can have well over 1000 people behind the scenes spending more time on a car than the driver does driving it.

All motorsport has a team and manufacturer title.
Yep, they're people polishing up the tool.

The sportsman is the driver. The rest are support staff.

Of course it is. And very worrying for you that George is the one springing to your aid.

Every sport has support staff. That doesn't make driving a car a team sport. It's a GUY driving a CAR. One guy and a tool.
There’s two drivers, who are TEAMMATES.
But apart from that the pit crew are absolutely part of the team and the reason why a team trophy is awarded.

It's really the only sport (sailing similar) where the design of the 'tool' is so critical to success. The ability to maximise car performance within the confines of the rules is just as big (if not larger) contributor to success in motorsport. Look at Jenson Button in 2009.

Can you put Verstappen in a Sauber and win? No, there's a limit to driver effect (look at Bottas). Can you put Ocon in a Mercedes and dominate? Also unlikely.

You moron, I’m not the only one. You compared someone who strings a racquet to a racing team full of engineers, automotive technicians. An actual championship gets awarded to the best team! Plus the majority have more than one car and more than one driver ie a team!

Why do you keep doubling down, it's embarrassing.

Last year Mclaren won the Manufacturers Championship in F1. That's the champion TEAM Red Bull Racing won the Drivers AND TEAMS championship.

But yeah not a team sport.

my favourite thing is mentioning RB doesnt sponsor team sport in australia, clearly referencing Cricket, AFL, Soccer and Basketball etc and now we have an argument about what is a sport. lol.

no if i meant motor sport i would have said it. You wwere wrong by jumping at shadows instead of thinking what i meant compared to the relevance of Port power. which is not a motorsport team are they. So you were never right.
