This is true but I am pretty sure if they don't accept cash payment they aren't allowed to chuck the card fees on top/or it has to be displayed in the price of the product or some shit like that.businesses don't have to accept cash

They should be made tobusinesses don't have to accept cash
Nah. They display the warning on their website and in the cinema as well.Im really not sure this is legal. If you pay with legal tender so to speak then they can't not accept it.
Imagine the 15 yr old trying to add up 2.2% on the priceSometimes I do want to pay cash. I wonder what happens when their computer system fails as well. Good luck with that.
Probably. Because they dont do the banking etc, to process the cash. What if you walk out with a $10 product and leave$10 cash on counter. Is that stealing?
Most likely yes we there'd be no record of the transaction - do you have a receipt or record of payment if you do that? What if you walk out with a $10 product and leave$10 cash on counter. Is that stealing?
They would need to show proof of theft ie cameraMost likely yes we there'd be no record of the transaction - do you have a receipt or record of payment if you do that?
If a business doesn't accept cash, then they may not have the facilities to process cash transactions, cash storage etc
Good chance if their computer system goes down they can't do cash transactions either. Everything would be going back to a computer one way or another.Nah. They display the warning on their website and in the cinema as well.
Im not gonna argue it, but its annoying af. Sometimes I do want to pay cash. I wonder what happens when their computer system fails as well. Good luck with that.
I actually meant internet but ok..Good chance if their computer system goes down they can't do cash transactions either. Everything would be going back to a computer one way or another.

What do you do for work?Going on a work tangent but I run my own race - have things setup how I like to do them (sticking with company guidelines overall but I've worked out short cuts that help me get things done faster).
I tend to power through the early part of the day. Purely so I can do a "victory lap" - meaning work slower as my main work is done. That said if I do get things done early, I'm usually setting up my work load for the following day - whether it's just laying out a schedule... or actually starting the next days work an hour or 2 before I leave.
I help out others where I can. But the favour is rarely returned.
When I go on leave I come back to work that needs to be caught up on. I miss the days where people's time off was covered. I'm currently on leave now (and posting on BF, woo hoo!!), essentially for the month.... I'll be welcomed back with a backlog of at least 3.5 weeks to catch up on. I'll be caught up (doing the older stuff concurrently with the current week) within 2-3 weeks. But it shouldn't happen at all. Out of 25 days that I had off last year, my workload was focused on for just 2 of them.
I'm going to gun for the title
