Could understand where Mick was coming from in that video, but hard to accept with their president sitting next to him. Been one of loudest sledgers over the fence in the last 20 years At EDFL games.Big hitting HS Interview
The three key leaders of the Keilor club on Thursday also revealed:
● They would fight back against misinformation, inaccuracies and scurrilous social media comments, which had seriously impacted the mental health of several volunteers at the club, with McGuane saying: “The axe forgets, the tree remembers”

Sounds like Big Nick has done it greek style to the board and CEO and footy manager of league to get his beloved club a slap on the wristsNick Condos is a keilor man iirc not that there’s anything wrong with that
Pat wouldn't give a flying. One of Pat's unique qualities is he does what he wants to do without fear or favour. This is a quality not too many possess as most people do what they think will win approval from their frenemies. What would Pat think about all this Salary Cap fiasco?
Any comment about how the actions of their committee have impacted the mental health of those same volunteers or are we still pretending that they're somehow victims in all of this?Big hitting HS Interview

Anyone who thinks any competitive team in Premier runs out onto the field for under 300k a year needs to check themselves into a facility. My view is the edfl and KFC both had as much as the other to lose if the truth was revealed and decided the best approach was the story on what happened along with agreement on the penalty. I just want to see great footy and don't care what it costs in premier as it needs to be a strong competition and the players need to be paid well. I cannot stand AFL and want local footy to be as strong as possible.
Agree LB . Not many people know this but a meeting of presidents chaired by Bruce Kent last year where a large majority of presidents all signed a submission to the AFL to either look at removing the cap or raising it to the figure LB mentioned above. So most of you are arguing against the direction your president and committee want for your respective clubsAnyone who thinks any competitive team in Premier runs out onto the field for under 300k a year needs to check themselves into a facility. Is that really a problem?or remove the cap altogether. Some of you are arguing against what your president and committee want for your clubs
Isn’t that the crux of the issue though?or remove the cap altogether. Some of you are arguing against what your president and committee want for your clubs
This maybe so but EDFL presidents don’t run Football in Victoria. The rules/laws of football are set for the greater good of all . Not a select few . In any case the submission was thrown in the bin . We all have restrictions placed upon us we don’t like . We also make mistakes both intentional and by carelessness and we usually pay for them .Agree LB . As long as he want! Coach doesn’t do the contracts let’s not forget this a good man who has a talent for developing good footballers we are lucky to have a coach of this quality giving back to grass roots football, the systems looses if we loose mickWith this all been settled, how long does Mick have left at Keilor as coach?
Isn’t he the football manager also?As long as he want! Coach doesn’t do the contracts let’s not forget this a good man who has a talent for developing good footballers we are lucky to have a coach of this quality giving back to grass roots football, the systems looses if we loose mick

People forget to bunk they all volunteers at clubs just doing the best they can as well. So many variable factors in a situation like thisFWIW contracts (the AFL Vic player declaration) aren’t signed by the coach.
They’re signed for the club by one of
President
Secretary
Treasurer
Football Manager
Coach won’t be blamed as he doesn’t sign anything.
If I’m signing one of these things I want to know every last thing that’s going on. If not, I’m not signing it. Nothing to gain for me.
The coach also talks to the player and offers them the amount verbally. The administrator does the contractFWIW contracts (the AFL Vic player declaration) aren’t signed by the coach.
