Our top clearances getters all pigs - Phillips Powell Xerri, and the less piggy but still pig-adjacent Sheezel. Feeding it to LDU who has the most I50s for us and 140 metres gained. You want the footy in his hands and the snouts are getting it to him

Totally agree, and we said this would happen after we watched him in the preseason.

But yeah, he is playing precisely like he did pre-draft.

A good first quarter but let down by poor conversion in front of goal, we should at least another 2 goals in front.

The midfield unit looks very strong and combined well out of the stoppage, and totally dominated the clearences 13-4.

Perhaps the blustery conditions played a part in so many missed shots, but we need to be better in front of goal, against the better teams we aren't going to get many games where we get 8-9 shots at goal in a quarter. We need to make the most of our opportunities.
